Deadly Ticks Carrying Ebola Type Virus

Ebola has been declared an international health emergency after a patient brought the disease to a city of two million people in the DR Congo and then died.

The World Health Organization said it was ‘time for the world to take notice’ as the UN agency invoked its emergency provisions to contain the growing outbreak.

Now deadly ticks that carry an ebola-like virus have been found in the UK after spreading across Europe, health officials have warned.

The hyalomma tick was discovered in Dorset last year and was 10 times larger in size than average, as experts believe the blood-sucking parasites have mutated to survive the cold winters.

The next ebola?

Hyalomma ticks are usually only found in Africa, Asia and parts of southern Europe, but one was removed from a horse in Dorset last September and sent to Public Health England (PHE) for analysis.

Tests found the creature was carrying rickettsia spotted fever, which can cause headaches, cramps and blisters in humans, but ticks are also known to carry the deadly Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever virus, dubbed “the next ebola”.

The deadly virus, also known as Congo fever, results in death in around two fifths of all cases and there are currently no proven vaccines available to prevent it.

According to the WHO, onset of symptoms is sudden, prompting fever, muscle aches, dizziness, neck pain and sore eyes.

Infected people may also suffer with nausea, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, sore throat and confusion early on, while severely ill patients can experience rapid kidney deterioration, liver failure and internal bleeding.

The mortality rate is approximately 30 per cent, with death occurring in the second week of illness.

A ‘threat to public health’

The discovery of a deadly tick in Dorset could “present a threat to public health in the UK,” the PHE said.

It is currently not known whether any more ticks have been found in the UK this year, but there have been six reported cases in Germany so far. Experts in Munich believe the creatures have mutated to survive the cold winters, rather than being brought into the country by migratory birds.

Dr Ute Mackenstedt, a parasitologist at the University of Hohenheim, told The Sun “If the development cycle is taken into account, this cannot be the case here, as the ticks would have had to have been introduced at a time where the migratory birds had not even arrived.

“According to the latest evidence, we have to presume that these animals are able to survive the winters in Germany.”

Five of the hyalomma ticks were found on a horse at a stables, meaning there is a possibility of a possible pairing and the emergence of an independent population.

High-risk areas

Hyalomma ticks can grow to as long as two centimetres and are much larger than the local wood tick. Originating in Iran, before spreading into Asia, the Middle East, southern Europe and Africa, the ticks are recognisable by their large size and striped legs.

There are several types of tick in the UK, but the sheep tick – known as Ixodes ricinus – is the most common.

A bite from a tick can cause a number of health problems, such as Lyme disease and tick-borne encephalitis, which in some cases can be fatal.

They can be found all across the UK, but high-risk areas include grassy and wooded spots in southern England, East Anglia, the Yorkshire Moors and the Scottish Highlands.

If you have been walking through high risk areas, you should check yourself for ticks as a precaution, paying attention to folds in the skin and the hairline.

To reduce the risk of being bitten, take the following precautions when heading outdoors:

  • Cover your skin when walking outdoors

  • Tuck your trousers into your socks, or wear longer socks when walking through long grassy areas

  • Use insect repellent on your clothes and skin – products containing DEET are most effective

  • Stick to paths wherever possible

  • Wear light-coloured clothing, so ticks are easier to spot and brush off

  • Carry out a tick check

The Simplest Survival Navigation Technique

Things happen…your GPS or compass may become lost or broken.

You may find yourself needing an alternate method of finding your bearings. You can use terrain association, if there is some readily identifiable features in view, but you really need to orient your map to a direction.

Anyone who has gone through any survival courses has been taught a variety of methods of survival navigation. Most have two problems in common, first they only apply to certain conditions, second they are a little too complicated and very easy to forget.

If you wish to use the North Star, it must be night, you need a clear night sky and must be in the northern hemisphere. The watch method of survival navigation is difficult since almost no one can remember which hand does what, and how north is indicated.

Also most people now wear digital watches without the hands on them, especially during outdoor activities. The stick shadow technique for survival navigation is simple, easy to remember and works anywhere on the planet in conditions where you can see a shadow.

The improvised Survival Navigation Technique is the simplest and most versatile method for direction finding without a compass.

It works anywhere on the planet as long as the sun throws a shadow.

Equipment needed is simple: only a stick or straight object such as a pen, and two small objects like pennies or rocks and you will be able to find north.

Step One of the Stick Shadow Technique for Survival Navigation

Place your stick or any straight object into the ground, so it throws a shadow.

Step Two

Put a rock or penny at the tip of the shadow, something easily identifiable and wait 15 or 20 minutes.

Step Three

Place a second object at the tip of the shadow’s new position.

Step Four

Place your left foot on the first rock or penny and your right foot on the second object. Just remember that you read left to right so your left foot goes on the first object and right on the second object, or if you are military-minded you always start off with your left foot.

You are now facing north!

All you really need to remember is to place the two rocks at the tip of the stick’s shadow. Then place your left foot on the first rock and right foot on the second rock.

If you ever find yourself without a compass and in need of a little help orienting yourself, then this technique is easy to remember and needs little equipment or special conditions.

Emergency Food and kit in the Boot

In the boot of my car is my 72hr BOB and I have for for some time been thinking of expanding that for say a week and certainly in the case of food.

So I have bought a 40ltr plastic box with a lid and I have filled it with ten year shelf life German tinned sausages already cooked and in tins, five year Bread, some high energy bars, home made trail mixes, ziplock bags of pre mixed Bannock mix, boiled sweets, chewing gum, all day breakfast tins, curries and stews, tea, coffee dried milk, Bovril drinks, and a tin opener. I think that is all.

With water purification covered in my BoB with three different types of tablets, the Putitab, Biox Aqua tabs and a liquid treatment called Purinize and three different filters the Purifycup the Water-to-go bottle and the Personal Life Straw. I know over kill but the tabs are very light and as it is an addition to my BOB and it is mine I will have what I want in it. You have that choice too.

I think that the car is one of the most important places to store emergency preparedness supplies because you usually are located in the same place as your car.

And, in the event that you are away from home when a disaster strikes, the roads may become unsafe or impossible to drive.

You may be forced to travel great distances and endure extreme weather conditions as you walk to a safe location or to meet up with loved ones.

Keeping emergency supplies in your car can also be a life-saver in the event you have a roadside emergency and become stranded in a remote location.

Emergency Food

Just keeping preserved food in your car is not enough because most shop bought food will not store safely in a car for more than a few months. My food will store safely in my car for a minimum of 5 year, in fact it is actually rated at 10 years. However what ever food you decide upon even shop bought is not a problem if you rotate it which I recommend you do

Emergency Water

You should also keep a minimum of 3 days of emergency drinking water in your car emergency kit. However, storing bottled water is not the smartest or cheapest way to store emergency water in your car.

Because of the extreme temperatures that occur inside your vehicle, bottled water will store safely for less than 6 months.

My water pouches are US Coast Guard Approved, 5-year shelf-life, 3-day supply of emergency water rations.

Since water remains the most important survival item to have, you can see why I have tablets and filters which can be used to purify extra water for drinking without having to carry it in your kit if you have to walk to a safe location.

Emergency Shelter Supplies

If you get stuck in your car or have to travel by foot in the cold, you will need proper emergency shelter supplies. That is why you need emergency shelter supplies in your car boot.

I carry proper shelter supplies including emergency survival blankets, ponchos to protect yfrom the weather, and a tube tent for easy emergency shelter from the elements. I also have resuable heat pads, a tarp and duct tape just in case I have to cover up a broken window for example.

Emergency Lighting

If you have to get out of your car and walk to a safe location during or after a disaster, you may be stuck walking at night and the street lights may also be out.

People usually know that it is very important to keep emergency torches/flashlights in their car but often people forget that they also have to replace the batteries every 6 months.

I also have some 12 hour emergency lightsticks and a wind up torch. Don’t forget batteries…save yourself money and buy LED as they use much less power.

Emergency First-Aid Kits

Firstly every driver should have one now, never mind in an emergency. In a major disaster while people are at work, many may become injured as they evacuate the building due to dangerous debris.

That is why businesses need to keep comprehensive emergency first aid kit, and why you should have one in your vehicle too.

Emergency Radios

If you need to travel by foot to a safe location after a disaster, you will need to know where to go. In order to avoid walking into a potentially more dangerous situation, you should keep an emergency radio in your car.

I have a solar powered/wind up radio as well as a CB radio this radio is highly recommended because ordinary battery operated emergency radios have many limitations such as the facts that batteries only last for hours and have an extremely limited shelf-life of around 6 months.

Emergency Tools

If you find yourself stranded on the the road without any tools you are in a dangerous situation. When broken down on the side of the road, you put you and your passengers at risk of getting hit by oncoming traffic and passing strangers.

Getting stranded can also be deadly due to extreme hot and cold weather conditions; especially following a disaster when emergency assistance may not be available. That is why you need to be self-reliant and keep a roadside emergency kit in your car.

THE WILDERNESS GATHERING 15th – 18th August 2019 (4 days)

The Wilderness Gathering has over the years become a firm date in the diaries of those who enjoy bushcraft, nature and wilderness survival skills.

The previous eleven years have seen this event grow from a small event in one field with some traders and schools sharing bushcraft skills and knowledge to a festival of wilderness living skills encompassing bushcraft/survival and woodland crafts.

The show has grown into an event with something for all the family with stories and music by the camp fire in the evenings and skills workshops and activities throughout the three whole days of the festival.

The Wilderness Gathering has without a doubt become the premier family event for all those interested in bush crafts and the great outdoors.

The show has bushcraft clubs for all age groups of children to get involved in plus more activities for all including den building and wilderness skills classes for all. 15th – 18th August 2019 (4 days)

There are hands on demonstrations of game preparation, knife sharpening, basha boat building, bowmaking, greenwood working, archery and axe throwing and primitive fire lighting to name just a few. There are talks on survival phycology, classes on falconry and wilderness survival fishing.

All of these skills are there for everybody and anybody to participate in.

You can probably pick up information on nearly all the skills needed to live in the wilderness and prosper at The Wilderness Gathering.

There is a wealth of good quality trade stands that are carefully selected to be in theme for the show selling everything from custom knives to tipis and outdoor clothing to primitive tools.

The organizers have even laid on a free service bring and buy stall where you can bring along your used and unwanted kit and they’ll sell it for you.

There are local scout and explorer groups on site promoting the World Wide Scouting Movement as well helping out with some of the classes and site logistics.

The catering is within the theme of the event with venison and game featuring on the menus plus organic cakes and drinks. The woodland and open field camping facilities (with hot showers) giving you the option to visit for the whole weekend or just to attend as a day visitor.

Check out or call 0845 8387062 you really won’t regret it.

Home Made Emergency Survival Bars

3 Cups of cereal (oatmeal, cornmeal, or wheat flakes)

1/4 tsp. salt

3 Tablespoons honey

2 1/2 Cups powdered milk

1 Cup sugar

1/4 Cup water

Why not add raisons if you like

Place all ingredients in a bowl. Bring water, honey to a boil and add to the dry ingredients. Mix well. Add water a little at a time until mixture is just moist enough to mould.

Place in a small square dish and dry in the oven under very low heat.

Wrap and store

This will make 2 bars, each containing approx. 1000 calories or enough food for one day. These will store for a long time if they are cooked until quite dry, and are excellent for emergency packs, etc. Eat dry, or cooked in about 3/4 Cup of water.

One bar contains only half of the nutrients of the whole recipe and therefore you may wish to set aside two bars per day to get the following:

Probably the biggest problem is the low vitamin C. However, in a pinch, a person could live a long time off these bars alone.

They are also a bit short in the calorie department, but are excellent in protein, over half of the B vitamins, and excellent in the minerals category.

I think that nutritionally they really smash most of the expensive bars you can buy from the different shops etc. and properly sealed would probably last as long.

Although I actually make them just to take with me and they beat trail mix by miles.

High Energy Survival Bars

2 lbs pitted dates

2 lbs figs

2 lbs raisins

2 cups cashew nuts

2 cups sesame seeds

2 cups peanut butter

Mix all ingredients except for peanut butter through a meat grinder or use a pestle and mortar

Add peanut butter and mix well.

Roll out into 1/2 inch thick sheets.

Cut into bars and wrap well.

This amount will make around 60 2 ounce bars

Homemade Survival Energy Bars

This homemade energy bar recipe is packed full of goodies and will sustain even the most exhausted prepper, survivalist or zombie hunter out there.

Wrap them individually and make extras for tucking into BOB (Bug Out Bags) or GHB (Get Home Bags) backpacks etc.

1 egg

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 tsp. vanilla extract

1 cup granola or your own mix of course.

1/2 cup raisins (or any chopped dried fruit)

1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts (or your favourite nut)

A large box of M&M’s or smarties or again your choice.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Generously butter or oil an 8 x 8 inch square pan (preferably non-stick).

Crack the egg into a medium sized bowl.

Add the sugar and vanilla extract and mix thoroughly.

Stir in the granola, raisins, hazelnuts and M&M’s and mix until combined.

Transfer to the pan and distribute evenly over the bottom, pressing firmly with your hands. Bake for 25 minutes.

Cool and cut into bars or squares. Serves 8 to 12.

Why not add powdered Vitamin C to the mix. It is easy to make your own with lemon or orange peels by cutting them up into small pieces and drying in a dehydrator/oven and then grinding them up with a coffee grinder/ pestle and mortar.

Flouride is Not Good

Fluoride used by Nazis to sterilize inmates and make them docile. Fluoride a key dumbing down ingredient of Prozac and Sarin nerve gas — poisons of choice for tyrant rats.

If this is new to you, please go and look at the tooth paste box or tube and read the medical warning?

One of the most commented on pieces I did last year was the one on fluoride in tooth paste, the result was amazing as people did not know this was going on and most told me they had thrown out the usual tooth paste and the had bought fluoride-free instead

First of all, it needs to be stated that the ‘substance’ referred to as ‘Fluoride’ is a misnomer – there is no such substance listed in the periodic chart of the elements, nor in the prestigious CRC handbook, .nor in the sacred ‘bible’ of the pharmaceutical industry – the illustrious ‘Merck Index’.

Instead, we find a GAS called Fluorine – and from the use of this gas in various industries such as aluminium manufacturing and the nuclear industry -certain toxic by-products are created which have ‘captured’ fluorine molecules.

One such toxic, poisonous ‘by-product’ is called sodium Fluoride – which according to the Merck Index is primarily used as rat and cockroach poison and is also the active ingredient in most toothpastes and as an “additive to drinking water”.

But sadly, there is much more to this sordid tale.

Did you know that sodium Fluoride is also one of the basic ingredients in both PROZAC (FLUoxetene Hydrochloride) and Sarin Nerve Gas (Isopropyl-Methyl-Phosphoryl FLUORIDE) – (Yes, folks the same Sarin Nerve Gas that terrorists released on a crowded Japanese subway train!).

Let me repeat: the truth you need to understand the fact that Sodium Fluoride is nothing more (or less) than a hazardous waste by-product of the nuclear and aluminium industries.

In addition to being the primary ingredient in rat and cockroach poisons, it is also a main ingredient in aesthetic, hypnotic, and psychiatric drugs as well as military NERVE GAS!

Why, oh why then is it allowed to be added to the toothpastes and drinking water of us the people?

Historically, this substance was quite expensive for the worlds’ premier chemical companies to dispose of – but in the 50’s and 60’s – Alcoa and the entire aluminium industry – with a vast overabundance of the toxic waste – SOMEHOW sold the FDA and our government on the insane (but highly profitable) idea of buying this poison at a 20,000% markup and then injecting it into our water supply as well as into the nation’s toothpastes and mouth wash.

Yes that’s right dear listener, a 20,000% markup.

Consider also that when sodium Fluoride is injected into our drinking water, its level is approximately 1 part-per-million (ppm), but since we only drink ½ of one percent of the total water supply, the hazardous chemical literally ‘goes down the drain’ and voila – the chemical industry has not only a free hazardous waste disposal system – but we have also PAID them handsomely in the process!!

This is very wrong and it stinks.

Independent scientific evidence over the past 50 plus years has shown that sodium fluoride shortens our life span, promotes various cancers and mental disturbances, and most importantly, makes humans stupid, docile, and subservient, all in one neat little package.

There is increasing evidence that aluminium in the brain is a causative factor in Alzheimer’s Disease, and evidence points towards sodium fluoride’s strong affinity to ‘bond’ with this dangerous aluminium (remember it is a by-product of aluminium manufacturing) and also it has the ability to ‘trick’ the blood-brain barrier by imitating the hydrogen ion thus allowing this chemical access to brain tissue.

There is a tremendous amount of emotional, highly unscientific “know-it-all” emotions attached to the topic of ‘sodium fluoride’ usage -but I personally have yet to find even ONE objective, double blind study that even remotely links sodium fluoride to healthy teeth at ANY AGE.

Instead, I hear and read such blather as “9 out of 10 DENTISTS recommend ‘fluoride’ toothpaste” etc. etc. etc.

Concerning the ‘practice’ of putting sodium fluoride into drinking water, where did this insanity begin and WHO tried it first?

Well it appears the very first occurrence of purposefully putting sodium fluoride into drinking water was in the German ghettos and in Nazi Germany’s infamous prison camps.

The Gestapo you see had little concern about sodium fluoride’s ‘supposed’ effect on children’s teeth; instead, their reason for mass-medicating water with sodium fluoride was to STERILIZE HUMANS and force the people in their concentration camps into calm, bovine, submission.

Kind of shocking isn’t it folks!! Ah, but it gets even better.

The following letter was received by the Lee Foundation for Nutritional Research, Milwaukee Wisconsin, on 2 October 1954, from a research chemist by the name of Charles Perkins. He writes:

“I have your letter of September 29 asking for further documentation regarding a statement made in my book, “The Truth about Water Fluoridation”, to the effect that the idea of water fluoridation was brought to England from Russia by the Russian Communist Kreminoff.

In the 1930’s Hitler and the German Nazis envisioned a world to be dominated and controlled by a Nazi philosophy of pan-Germanism.

The German chemists worked out a very ingenious and far-reaching plan of mass-control which was submitted to and adopted by the German General Staff. This plan was to control the population in any given area through mass medication of drinking water supplies.

By this method they could control the population in whole areas, reduce population by water medication that would produce sterility in women, and so on. In this scheme of mass-control, sodium fluoride occupied a prominent place.

“Repeated doses of infinitesimal amounts of fluoride will in time reduce an individual’s power to resist domination, by slowly poisoning and narcotising a certain area of the brain, thus making him submissive to the will of those who wish to govern him. [A convenient and cost-effective light lobotomy? — Ott].

“The real reason behind water fluoridation is not to benefit children’s teeth. If this were the real reason there are many ways in which it could be done that are much easier, cheaper, and far more effective.

The real purpose behind water fluoridation is to reduce the resistance of the masses to domination and control and loss of liberty.”

“When the Nazis under Hitler decided to go to Poland, both the German General Staff and the Russian General Staff exchanged scientific and military ideas, plans, and personnel, and the scheme of mass control through water medication was seized upon by the Russian Communists because it fitted ideally into their plans to communize the world.”

“I was told of this entire scheme by a German chemist who was an official of the great I.G. Farben chemical industries and was also prominent in the Nazi movement at the time. I say this with all the earnestness and sincerity of a scientist who has spent nearly 20 years’ research into the chemistry, biochemistry, physiology and pathology of fluorine — any person who drinks artificially fluorinated water for a period of one year or more will never again be the same person mentally or physically.”

Signed: CHARLES E. PERKINS, Chemist, 2 October, 1954.

Apparently, the public outcry by Dr. Bronner and others precluded the fluoridation of public water systems for a season – but soon thereafter, the Food and Drug Administration allowed this deadly poison to be put in ‘toothpaste’, and our dentists were systematically brainwashed into providing ‘fluoride treatments’ to their many patients.

Of course, today many major metropolitan areas have a minimum of 1 parts per million sodium fluoride systematically added to their water supply and more areas are seeking to add this poison every year.

Add to this the fact that bottling companies (soft drinks, juices, etc.) use fluoridated water to make their products – is it any wonder that people can no longer think clearly and ask pertinent questions of their elected and ecclesiastical leaders?

Is it also a mystery why so many top Nazi mind control scientists were brought to America by the CIA and their infamous ‘Operation Paper Clip’?

If you believe all of this is ‘just a coincidence’ – go ahead and keep brushing your teeth with your ‘fluoride’ toothpaste and sucking on your sodium fluoride enhanced Coke or Pepsi product – for ignorance truly is bliss and you truly deserve what you get.

Mothers, if your little ones are having trouble concentrating at home or in school, or have been diagnosed as ‘attention deficit’ – perhaps you would be well advised to look for the culprit (and the solution to the problem) no further than your home medicine cabinet (your tube of toothpaste) and your friendly neighbourhood school’s water taps!!

Buy a water bottle filter as the tap water tastes fantastically refreshing, that is what I did.

Bugging Out-The Basics

Your bug-out bag should contain the things you need to survive while you’re on the road to your BOL or heading home.

You’ll need water, food, a good knife, fire starting materials, and a first aid kit, among other things.

Water Is YOUR Priority

You can survive up to 3 days without water, but the longer you go without water, the more difficult it becomes to think logically.

If you can’t think straight, your survival rates plummet. So be sure to pack some water, water purification tablets, and a good filtration bottle. This is a priority for a well stocked bug-out bag.

After water, you need to have some form of sustenance to keep your body fueled for the trip ahead. High energy bars and crisps, better still trail-mix will keep you going whilst on the move. I like to put survival food into 3 categories…quick and easy, heat and eat, and foraged from the wild.

Quick and Easy

When you have to get out of Dodge fast, you need food you can eat on the run. Pack foods that provide protein, carbs, vitamins, and minerals to keep your body functioning on your trip, especially if you need to walk or bike to your destination.

Stash a variety of ready to eat foods and rotate them often. If your bug out bag is packed and left in a closet for a couple years, some of those foods could get moldy…so use it and replace it.

Here’s my list of favorite quick foods you can eat as you move:

Nuts and Seeds

Dried fruits

Power bars

Granola bars

Protein powder (mix into your water)

Heat and Eat

If your bug out trip is going to be lengthy, or you have no real destination in mind, you’ll want some heartier fare.

When the nights get cold, a hot meal can do wonders for morale.

So try packing some of these mixes that are ready to eat after adding boiling water, stirring, and letting them cook for 5 minutes or less.

These mixes are a lot like the cups of instant soup available in shops, except it is a lot cheaper to make your own and you can take a Thermos mug and your mixes in Z-lock bags in a lot less space than those soup cups.

Here are two recipes:

Cheesy Potatoes

1 cup instant mashed potatoes

1 Tbs cheddar cheese powder

Dash of salt and pepper (Leave the salt if cheese powder contains salt)

Mix ingredients in a plastic bag and store in a dry place. You can add dried veggies to increase nutritional value. To heat: Pour contents into a large mug or a bowl. Add enough boiling water to cover mix. Stir and add more water if necessary. Let stand for 5 minutes and eat.

Tex-Mex Beans and Rice

3/4 cup instant rice

1/4 cup dried instant refried beans

2 Tbs freeze dried sweet corn

1 Tbs dried tomato powder

1 tsp taco seasoning

Dash of salt and pepper

Mix ingredients in a plastic bag and store in a dry place. To heat: Pour contents into a large mug or a bowl. Add enough boiling water to cover mix. Stir and add more water if necessary. Let stand for 5 minutes and eat.

Foraging for Wild Food

Edible greens, nuts, and fruits grow in the wild, we just need to know what’s safe to eat.

Pack a guide to edible plants for your area in your bug out bag and practice foraging before the SHTF.

It will slow you down if you need to forage for all of your food on your trip, but having this knowledge may keep you from starving when you run out of your bug out bag preps.

What Else?

Foil containers of tuna, salmon, or chicken

Small cans of meat and fish

Tea bags, coffee, sugar, milk powder etc.

Small pot to boil water

Sharp knife

Tin opener

Mug and spoon/spork

Container for gathering wild edibles

Don’t fill your bug out bag with junk food! Make sure you have a variety of ready to eat, and ready to heat foods to keep your body going strong through a long hard trek.

And get it ready now! You may not have time to think carefully about what goes in your bug out bag when the SHTF.

It would be bad news to get out in the wild and only have a bag of biscuits to munch on. So prepare now and survive later!

Note: The recipes for mixes can be made up in larger quantities. You can also change the seasoning, or add other dried ingredients that you like. Just be sure to keep them in a dry place and rotate once every 4 to 6 months.

Its not a CON-Trail

Mentioning the word ‘chemtrails’ on a public bus or Facebook is bound to earn you a few eye rolls from eavesdroppers and sceptical family members.

However, while scepticism – regardless of the source – isn’t exactly the worst thing in the world, it appears that those who believe strongly in the idea that the U.S. government is spraying dangerous chemicals into the atmosphere may have been onto something after all.

The evidence? No, not some YouTube video by a retired NASA janitor. This time, you’ve got an actual official government document from the U.S. admitting to the placement of chemicals in our atmosphere.

To start with, Dr. Norman A Beckman begins by requesting a report on the history of weather modification. Washington, D.C., July 30, 1976.

Dr. Norman A. Beckman, Acting Director, Congressional Research Service, Library of Congress, Washington, D.C.

Dear Dr. Beckman: Weather modification, although a relatively young science, has over the years stimulated great interest within the scientific, commercial, governmental, and agricultural communities.

Although the Soviets and some U.S. private operators claim some success in suppressing hail by seeding clouds, our understanding of the physical processes that create hail is still weak.

The one major U.S. held experiment increased our understanding of severe storms, but otherwise proved mostly the dimensions of what we do not yet know.

For over 30 years both legislative and executive branches of the Federal Government have been involved in a number of aspects of weather modification.

That last statement alone should have you clicking on google to see the full facts. Share it with your more sceptical friends and see what they have to say

Additional details on Chemtrails vs Contrails is also available online and it appears that Geoengineering, Solar Radiation Management, Climate-Engineering, Weather Modification, HAARP, & “Chemtrails” Cloud-seeding & rudimentary weather control was a somewhat old technology, back when I was a little kid.

I remember watching the contrails & wondering as the years have gone by, why some of them behaved differently. Genuine contrails, are merely condensation forming behind certain engines at specific altitudes, & dissipate as you watch.

They never lasted very long. There are others though, colloquially referred to as “chemtrails”, which I noticed behaved differently, even under the same weather conditions, long before I knew the different terms they were given.

Rather than dissipating almost as soon as they’re formed, as actual contrails do, these would remain for long periods of time, gradually dispersing into a haze – often blanketing the sky for many hours.

When I’ve watched the end of a contrail, dissipating in real time as the jet flies along, while chaff from another plane is obviously dispersing into a recognizable haze – I can clearly see the difference, and if you are honest so can you.

How to Make Nettle Soup

With consumers being so bombarded with marketing for ready-meals, fast-food, and other chemical rubbish often I find people forget about some of nature’s ingredients that are normally right on their doorstep!

This recipe will go through how to make a nettle soup, which not only is a cheap and easy to make meal but also extremely good for you.

Nettles (which are rich in iron and contain lots of great vitamins) have been said by many to have anti-anemic, anti-diabetic and anti-inflammatory properties.

It’s also a diuretic so is great for detoxing and helps remove toxins from the blood.

On top of all that it also is a great remedy against arthritis, rheumatic conditions, allergies, kidney disease…. (And the list goes on!)

All of that from a pesky weed that most of us avoid and ignore!

First things first, pick a good spot. I would try not to chose any spots that are nearby to roads as you’ll likely get a mouthful of pollution, and try to look out for the smaller sized nettles as they are more nutritious and tasty for your soup.

The spot I found today was in a clearing in a local wood, but the same principles can be applied to most of the world!

Now you have found your spot, onto some practicalities of nettle picking, wear a good pair of gloves.

If you get stung, take a look around for any doc leaves (big vainly leaves normally found nearby to nettles) as rubbing these on a new sting will relieve the pain.

Typically to make a batch of soup for four people you will want to get about half a bag of nettles.

At this point if you want to pick more nettles you might want to consider filing up your bags and then:

Preparing and freezing any leftover nettles for another day (just wash/cut/dry them and they will freeze well)

You can also dry the nettles for tea by either hanging them up in a warm place (the airing cupboard.

Look up some of the other handy uses for nettles (you’ll probably be surprised how versatile they are!)

1 large onion

2 or 3 garlic gloves (or more or less to your taste)

2 or 3 potatoes

Splash of olive oil

Knob of butter

Organic salt and organic pepper (to taste)

Chicken stock (this is very easy to make from leftover chicken) or just use a cube

Cream (optional, to taste)

Cayene Pepper or Chilli Flakes (optional if you like your soups to pack a kick!)

Making the Soup:

Step 1 Prepare the nettles (again at this point you may want to wear some gloves to avoid getting stung).

Wash and drain the nettles.

You only want to use the fresh smaller young looking leaves so pick these off the stalk and discard the rest (or better still stick them on your compost pile!). I find using a pair of scissors is a fast way of doing this.

Step 2 Peel and chop your potatoes, garlic, and onion and fry them on a high heat in a saucepan with a bit of olive oil and some butter until the onion is soft and the potatoes have started to go brown.

If you want a spicy “sting!” to your soup then also add in either some cayenne pepper or some chilly flakes to taste.

Making the nettle soup mix

Step 3 Add the nettles into the pan and mix around with a wooden spoon and after 30 seconds or so add a litre of boiled water and your chicken stock. (If you have made the stock fresh you may need a few extra cubes to get in more flavour)

Step 4 Boil the soup on a medium heat until the potatoes are soft (normally takes between 12-15 minutes).

Step 5 Take the soup off the heat (and ideally let it cool for a bit) then blend the whole thing till you have a smooth consistency.

You can return the soup to the pan on a high heat after this briefly to warm it up ready for serving adding in any salt and pepper to taste.

Step 6 Serve the soup with some nice organic bread and if you like you can add some cream by swirling around in the bowl with a small spoon for a mind blowing and decorative finish!
